Recommend approval to award an annual contract for gate and tapping valves to Consolidated Pipe & Supply in the amount of $78,132.40 and to Core & Main (formerly HD Supply Waterworks, Ltd.) in the amount of $30,802.00, and to Ferguson Waterworks in the amount of $13,904.89, for a total contract amount of $122,839.29. The gate and tapping valves are required throughout the existing water distribution system and are used by the Water Distribution Department to control water flows. The gate and tapping valves allow connections for new developments without having to interrupt services already being provided to citizens and commercial customers. The lowest responsive, responsible bidder was selected for each line item.

The contract term will be from January 4, 2018 through December 31, 2018.
