The Savannah Airport Commission recommends approval of a contract with HVAC Armor (ECM Holding Group) in the amount of $84,990.00 to refurbish air handler units. HVAC Armor will provide labor, equipment and material to refurbish 11 Savannah Airport Commission air handling units that have been in service since 1994. All work will be conducted in accordance with all current codes and standards for indoor air quality and requirements for the control of pathogenic biological agents and national fire codes. The refurbishments will extend the life of the existing air handler units, stop current deterioration, apply a coating system to all prepped areas, condensate pan and/or chamber walls, floors, walls, blowers and sealed with an active antimicrobial coating, and deep clean coils to maximize air flow. 

Quotes were received through the City of Savannah's Purchasing Department.  The following bids were received:
