26. Motion to Renew Annual Contract for Soft Drink Concessions for the Civic Center with Coca-Cola Bottling Company (Event No. 5947)

Description

Recommend approval renew an annual contract for soft drink concessions with Coca-Cola Bottling Company in the estimated amount of $25,300.00.  This service will be used to replace and upgrade existing equipment located in the Civic Center and provide soft drink products for customers of the events held at the Civic Center.  This contract includes a $10,000.00 annual sponsorship to the City for Coca-Cola advertising which will be deposited into the Civic Center-Operating fund.  While notifications were sent to all known suppliers, only one bid was received.

Bids were originally received on April 17, 2018.  This contract was originally approved by Council on May 24, 2018 in the amount of $25,300.00.  This is the first of three renewal options.

The contract term shall be from January 31, 2019 through December 31, 2019.
