Recommend approval to renew an annual contract for construction cost estimating services with Costing Services Group for up to $75,000. This contract will be used by the Office of Capital Projects to provide services including, but not limited to, review and recommendation of costs related to task order contracts, construction manager at risk, design/bid/build, and design/build projects to assure that costs are commensurate with the project scope and local market conditions. This contract is necessary because accurate cost estimates are needed to assist the City in controlling the duration, cost and outcome of a construction project.

The method used for this procurement was the request for proposals (RFP) which evaluates criteria in addition to cost.  This contract expires January 27, 2022 and has one renewal options available.
