Description Recommend approval of a contract for the installation of decorative lights along Cedar Street with Georgia Power in the amount of $29,758. This project is part of the sidewalk project to extend the sidewalk along Cedar Street from DeLesseps Avenue to E. 60th Street Lane. The sidewalk will be located on the east side of the street and will include seven decorative light fixtures that will match the lights installed for the Savannah Shines project, north of DeLesseps. This agreement is for the upfront cost of the new lights and also includes relocating some of the existing lights to the west side of Cedar Street to provide adequate lighting in the intersections. The operating cost of the new lights will be $167 per month. This is a sole source procurement because Georgia Power is the only vendor that can provide installation, power, and maintenance service to the light fixtures. S.S.
