Description Recommend approval of Amendment No. 2 for the downtown streetscapes design services to EDSA in the amount of $10,000.00. The original contract was for comprehensive planning, design, pre-construction, construction administration, and closeout services for the Downtown Streetscape Improvement Initiative. The corridors originally included in the contract were Liberty Street to the Savannah River and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard to East Broad Street. The purpose of this amendment will be to develop a concept that creates a safe, pedestrian-oriented link from West Savannah to the Historic Landmark District. The original contract was approved by Council on August 18, 2016 in the amount of $2,165,341.80. The total amount of this contract to date, including this amendment, is $2,262,241.80.
