The work session and City Manager’s briefing was held at 12:01 p.m., in the 2^nd Floor Media Room of City Hall. Mayor Johnson called the meeting to order and recognized Alderman Purtee to offer a prayer.

At 12:02 p.m., Mayor Pro Tem Dr. Shabazz moved to hold a closed executive session regarding personnel, real estate, and litigation, seconded by Mayor Johnson, Ald. Wilder-Bryan, and Ald. Palumbo. The motion passed unanimously, 9-0-0.

At 1:04 p.m., Ald. Palumbo moved to adjourn the closed executive session and hold the agenda review, seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Dr. Shabazz and Ald. Wilder-Bryan. The motion passed unanimously, 9-0-0.

City Manager Melder reviewed the regular meeting agenda discussing in detail Items #15, contract modification No. 1 for the Enmarket Arena parking lot, and #27, third amendment of the land lease with Tenenaum, Inc.  

Mayor Johnson thanked City Manager Melder and Joseph Shearouse for the outstanding work done for and at the Savannah-Chatham Day at the Capitol in Atlanta last week.

There was no action taken during the workshop and agenda review.

Mayor Johnson adjourned the pre-meetings at 1:37 p.m.
