The airport is requesting approval to engage Elevated Facility Services to modernize six (6) escalators in the Hourly/Long Term Parking Garage at a total cost of $1,483,176. Elevated Facility Services is the current provider under the facility’s Escalator and Elevator Service Maintenance Contract, and they have the operational familiarity and technical expertise needed to complete this modernization efficiently. The project includes a full refurbishment of six escalators, including mechanical and electrical upgrades, updated safety features, and a controller upgrade to a non-priority system. These escalators have reached the end of their useful life, and modernization is necessary to maintain safe, reliable service and reduce ongoing maintenance demands.
