| Description Recommend approval to renew an annual contract for Senior Lunch Meals with Senior Citizens, Inc. (Savannah, GA)(B) in the amount of $400,000. The Recreation and Leisure Department uses the congregate senior lunches to provide lunch meals to senior citizens in the City of Savannah Adult Day Care, Golden Age and PARC programs. Last year, 92,740 meals were provided to senior citizens and an estimated 80,000 meals will be provided in 2021. Senior Citizens Inc. proposed a cost of $5.00 per meal for the 80,000 meals that will be served annually (320 meals per day at $5.00 each for 250 days). The original contract was bid and approved by Council on July 7, 2016. This is the final of four annual renewal options available.
