Description Recommend approval to purchase 17 Marked Police Interceptor Sport Utility Vehicles (SUV) and two (2) K9 Marked Interceptors with Wade Ford in the amount of $702,980. The City of Savannah Police Department’s Patrol Division and K9 units will use these vehicles for routine law enforcement services. The units will provide public safety, law enforcement, and security for the citizens of the City of Savannah. The marked Police vehicles serve a critical function under emergency conditions. By using the state contract Wade Ford confirms our current pricing and will have the vehicles delivered in 2022. Per Section 2-4154 of the City’s Purchasing Ordinance, the City may purchase goods or services through the use of a state contract. The contract used for this procurement is a State of Georgia contract for administrative vehicles (Contract # 99999-SPD-ES40199373-009S). It was competitively bid by the State of Georgia and expires on November 30, 2022. Delivery: As requested. Terms: Net 30 days. The vendor is: S.C. Wade Ford, Inc.
