Description

Recommend approval to renew an annual contract for high visibility raingear with On-Site Supply in the amount of $43,630.50.  The high visibility raingear will be maintained in inventory at the Central Warehouse and will be utilized by various City departments to provide protection to employees working on or along roadways.  The apparent low bidder was not selected because its proposal does not meet the scope specification 4.1.5 which requires that raincoats be 48 inches long.  The bidder proposes a jacket which is only 30 inches long.

Bids were originally received November 1, 2016 and approved in Council on December 22, 2016.  This is the final renewal option.

The contract term shall be from February 14, 2019 through December 31, 2019.
