Description

Recommend approval to renew an annual maintenance agreement for HigherGround recorders in the communications center with DECA in the amount of $35,316.00. This annual service agreement will be used by the Savannah Police Department to maintain the recordings of all radio and telephonic traffic into and out of the communications center. This is a sole source because this vendor is the original provider of this system and the agreement will be used to maintain existing equipment that is only available from this vendor. It is critical to have maintenance and support from the original provider to ensure authorized, knowledgeable, and timely vendor support when it is needed. 

The agreement will be from February 21, 2018 through February 20, 2019.
