Description

Recommend approval to renew an annual contract for traffic lighting system repairs and maintenance with Hoffman Electric Company as the primary contractor and Aiken-Harper Electrical as the secondary contractor in the amount of $35,000. These services are used to repair and install lighting along Interstate 16 from Chatham Parkway to the north end of the Talmadge Bridge. These services also include planned maintenance and emergency repairs in the event of traffic accidents, storms, hurricanes, vandalism, or equipment failures.

This contract was originally approved by Council on August 3, 2017. The contract term expires on December 31, 2020. This is the third of three renewal options.
