Central of Georgia Railroad Company has held a Right-of-Entry agreement with the City of Savannah for sampling/remediation access to the Fell Street Stormwater Pump Station pursuant to a Georgia Environmental Protection Division action.   Access is necessary to address pollutants present from a release many years ago. The contamination and its remediation is a complicated endeavor requiring many years of action. The agreement was first signed in 2001. This extension allows Central of Georgia Railroad Company to continue to address necessary actions according to Georgia EPD oversight.
