| Description Each year, City Coundcil adopts a Revenue Ordinance to authorize the collection of taxes and fees. The proposed Revenue Ordinance incorporates changes proposed in the 2023 Proposed Budget. The 2023 Revenue Ordinance includes language changes as outlined in the attached Revenue Ordinance Summary (Exhibit 1). The Revenue Ordinance authorizes the assessment and collection of taxes and fees across all City departments. The revenue is deposited into various accounts depending on the nature of the tax or fee.
