Description

Motion to Approve the subdivision of (1) one existing property parcel C4-C (PIN# 2-0039-02-101) into (3) three individual parcels (C4-C1, C4-C2, C4-C3), for the purposes of creating right- of -way for dedication to the City of Savannah. The dedicated right-of-way will be used by the City of Savannah to construct lanes and utility infrastructure as part of the Savannah Gardens Phase 3B infrastructure project to serve the Savannah Gardens Phase VI development. This proposed subdivision also coincides with the Savannah Gardens VI development agreement between the City of Savannah and Mercy Housing. The Savannah Gardens Phase VI development is proposed to be an approximately +/-7.5-acre multi-family DCA funded housing development and the last phase of private development that comprises the overall Savannah Gardens project that began in 2009. The proposed Savannah Gardens Phase VI development shall be (85) eighty-five units in total and is being developed in accordance with the “Savannah Gardens Planned Unit Development” previously approved in 2009 and amended in 2018. The (85) eighty-five total units will be a mix of townhome style units and multi-family residential units along with public green spaces. The proposed Savannah Gardens Phase VI development is contingent upon, and being developed congruently with, the Savannah Gardens Phase 3B infrastructure project.
