Description Savannah City Council approved a contract in the amount of $2,841,606 with Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) on December 21, 2017, to provide for program management services for development of the new arena. Under this contract, JLL has provided expert project management services to assist the City in the procurement, design, and construction of this $165 million public asset, a scope that does not include parking facilities. On May 9, 2019, City Council approved Contract Modification No. 2 with JLL in the amount of $195,000 to provide for development and implementation of a sustainability plan for the arena to ensure the facility is designed, built, and operated with sustainability and efficiency fully integrated throughout the entire project, and to oversee Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification. Contract Modification No. 2 is to extend program management services to include the 400-space parking garage planned for the north facade of the arena. Since earlier this year JLL has provided program management services during the planning, procurement and budget development phase of the planned garage. JLL's contractually obligated DBE participation goal of 30% will be extended to this contract modification. The total amount of this contract to date, including amendments 1 and 2, is $3,159,818. | |
