Description
The City of Savannah's Public Works and Water Resources Division is being presented with the Certificate of Membership to Ductile Iron Pipe Research Association Sesquicentennial Club by virtue of having cast iron underground pressure mains in continuous service for 150 years or more. The City of Savannah joins 27 other water and sewer agencies in the US and 2 agencies in Canada who are also members of this club. As the City's Water Distribution Division continues to maintain and upgrade the water supply and distribution systems, they will continue to utilize such quality material to serve the City of Savannah.
