The City of Savannah received an annexation petition for two parcels with an aggregate of ~667 acres located at 420 Bush Road and 302 Bush Road (PINs 11026 01002C and 11026 01017) near the intersection of Little Neck Road and Bush Road. The land under petition is contiguous to existing City territory, and therefore, can be annexed by ordinance adopted by City Council. As required by State law, the County and the Board of Education have been informed of receipt of this petition.

City Council approved an Intergovernmental Agreement on November 26, 2024, followed by approval from the Chatham County Commissioners on December 6, 2024, for joint improvements to Little Neck Road and the orderly annexation of the property.
