On August 8, 2017, MPC approved the growth management aspects of the short-term vacation rental report addressing zoning; specifically the short-term vacation rental use conditions. One recommendation pertaining to the transfer of property title and the need to obtain a short-term vacation rental certificate was not included as a zoning amendment in MPC's recommendations, as it was determined that this aspect was not zoning related.

An amendment to the Short-Term Vacation Rental Ordinance [Part 8, Planning and Regulation of Development, Chapter 11, Section 8-10012] is now needed to incorporate this aspect of STVR rental use conditions and capping system.
