Title Motion to Adopt Resolution Imposing a 90-Day Stay on Issuance of Alcoholic Beverage Package Licenses Along Ogeechee Road
Description Residents along Ogeechee Road have expressed concerns about the density of businesses selling alcoholic beverages by the package along the Ogeechee Road corridor. The proposed 90-day stay on the issuance of new licenses would allow the City Manager to research and propose revisions to the zoning code. The stay would be on all real property facing Ogeechee Road between the centerline of Anderson Street and the centerline of Victory Drive for a period of 90 days. The resolution does not apply to any person who has applied for a license to sell alcohol by the package prior to the date of the enactment of this resolution.
