Description David Hornsby as agent for D.J. Desai, doing business as HD Companies, Petitioner (File No. 17-004210-ZA) is requesting approval of a rezoning map amendment for a property located on Normandy Road, east of Hitch Village, to rezone the property from IL (Light Industrial) to BC (Community Business). The property is currently vacant and is proposed to be an additional section of the “Bremer Tract” hotel development, the map amendment for which was approved by the Mayor and Aldermen on June 8, 2017. The subject property consists of a single parcel comprising a total of 2 acres. The subject property is designated “Downtown Expansion” on the future land use map of the Tricentennial Comprehensive Plan.
