The City of Savannah has a water line in the westerly portion of the Dean Forest Road right of way at Pine Meadow Drive. A new Parker's convenience store is being developed at the intersection which will require the addition of a deceleration lane along Dean Forest Road. The property owner has agreed to grant the City, at no cost, a utility easement so the water line can be relocated out of the right of way that is needed for the deceleration lane. The easement has been reviewed by the Bureau of Public Works and Water Resources, the City Attorney's Office, and Real Property Services. It has been signed by the property owner and is ready for acceptance and recording by the City.
