Description Recommend approval to renew the automated red light photo enforcement system contract with Redflex Traffic Systems in the amount $166,800.00, for a two-year cost of $333,600.00. The camera systems are used to provide photographic evidence of red light violations and to issue citations to violators. The increase in the contract amount is due to upgrades to the software and equipment over the years. The method used for this procurement was the request for proposal, which evaluates criteria in addition to cost. Proposals were evaluated on the basis of experience and qualifications, technical capabilities, methodology, system expansion considerations, and fees. This is the final two-year renewal option available for this contract. Redflex operates red light cameras at the following intersections:
