Title 42. Motion to Approve 15-Foot Utility Easement for Georgia Power at Joseph Tribble Park, 12517 Largo Drive
Strategic Priority Infrastructure
Description Georgia Power has requested a 15-foot utility easement over City-owned property at 12517 Largo Drive (Joseph Tribble Park) for the purposes of installing an electrical distribution line. The electrical service will power new lights, cameras, and a pond aerator planned for the property, which is used as a public park. The “Easement Area” is defined as any portion of the property located within 15 feet of the centerline of the overhead distribution line(s) as installed in the approximate location shown on the attached Exhibit “A." The proposed easement would allow installation of an underground distribution line, running parallel to an existing overhead distribution line and lighting, and a proposed pole anchor and guy wire. This easement solely gives Georgia Power access to install, maintain, and repair said equipment and does not convey any land. This request has been reviewed and approved by Parks and Recreation, Development Services, Public Works and Water Resources, Greenscapes Division, and by Real Estate Services.
