Title 36. Motion to Approve Indemnity and Hold Harmless Agreement with AECOM Concerning Use of the Fell Street Box Culvert
Strategic Priority Infrastructure
Description AECOM, as agent for Central of Georgia Railroad/Bernuth Lembcke Site #10095, desires to use real property belonging to the City of Savannah at the Fell Street Stormwater Pump Station at the Ocean Terminal of the Georgia Ports Authority. Use of the property is for environmental remediation required by Georgia Hazardous Response Act O.C.G.A. 12-8-90 to seal or line interior portions of the City's Fell Street box culvert in the vicinity of the Fell Street Pump Station. Central of Georgia is working with the State to prevent migration of contaminants into waters of the State by sealing the Fell Street box culvert, which conveys storm and ground water into the Savannah River. The agreement protects the City while not requiring anything else of the City except to grant requested access.
