At the July 22, 2017 City Council Meeting, the Mayor and Aldermen directed staff to develop a 90-day stay on the issuance of alcoholic beverage licenses along Montgomery Street between Victory Drive and DeRenne Avenue.  This would allow staff time to research and propose revisions to the Zoning Code to address issues associated with the continued issuances of licenses to sell alcoholic beverages, by the package, along the corridor.
