Motion to Renew Annual Maintenance Agreement with Zonar Systems (Event No. 5340)
Description

Recommend approval to renew an annual maintenance agreement for GPS services with Zonar systems in the amount of $41,816.76. The services are used to monitor the Sanitation Bureau's fleet and to assist in routing vehicles in the most efficient and cost-effective method. There are currently 123 Zonar units installed on Sanitation vehicles.  

This is a sole source procurement because the service monitors existing Zonar equipment already installed in the Sanitation Bureau's vehicles. It is also critical to have maintenance and support from the original provider to ensure authorized, knowledgeable, and timely vendor support when and if it is necessary.

The annual maintenance agreement will end on May 31, 2018.
