Description

Recommend approval of a contract for renovations to Fire Station #1 with Johnson- Laux Construction, LLC in the amount of $98,789.11. The Facilities Maintenance and Operations Department will use the contract to renovate the station which needs updates and repairs to ensure a safe working environment for the Fire Department housed at that location.

The contractor will perform renovations which include painting and wall repairs, ceiling tile replacement, electrical and LED light upgrades and cement driveway repairs.

This procurement is being made through a cooperative purchasing agreement with Sourcewell, which was competitively bid and awarded to Johnson- Laux Construction, LLC for construction services with government agencies in the State of Georgia.
