The Airport will utilize multiple advertising platforms made available with the sponsorship, such as the video boards throughout the arena, the ribbon board that operates during all games, and various special interactive activities during each game, such as sponsorship of the t-shirt cannon, the “flight crew” that cleans the ice in between quarters, get to know the player videos, and other fun in-game events. The Ghost Pirates average 6,695 attendees per game and regularly draw crowds from all fifty states, as well as our local region. The Ghost Pirates recently announced a new affiliation with the Florida Panthers, the 2023-2024 season Stanley Cup Champions, located in South Florida between Ft. Lauderdale and Miami. While the airport will be at the same sponsorship level as previous years, the team has offered additional activation opportunities each year. The sponsorship is for two years at $80,000 each year, which is the same amount the airport has sponsored since the team came to Savannah. This is a budgeted item in Marketing’s 2024 Sponsorship budget.
