Title Motion to Award Annual Contract for Stump Grinding Services to McKinnon, Inc. (Event No. 4864) | |
Description Recommend approval to award an annual contract for stump grinding services to McKinnon, Inc. in the amount of $173,040.00. The City of Savannah provides stump grinding as part of the tree removal process within City rights of way. Prior to Hurricane Matthew in October 2016, the backlog of stumps to be grinded was 260. After the hurricane, an additional 235 stumps were added to the list. This expense is not eligible for FEMA reimbursement. The contract term will be from August 17, 2017 through August 16, 2018. | |
