Recognition of the Coastal Jazz Association (CJA) and an appearance by Howard Paul, President, and CJA Board Members to announce the 2017 Savannah Jazz Festival scheduled for September 17-23, 2017.

The CJA, a grassroots non-profit organization, was formed in 1982 to help Jazz thrive in Savannah, Georgia and the Coastal Empire by sponsoring live performances, encouraging Jazz education through scholarships, and by the camaraderie of others with shared interests. CJA is responsible for the annual Savannah Jazz Festival which is a week-long FREE festival run entirely by volunteers. There are shows throughout the city during the week, culminating in Forsyth Park Thursday and Friday evening and Saturday during the day and the evening.
