| Title 7. Motion to Authorize the City Manager to Execute a Short-Term Lease with the Coastal Empire Fair for the Fairground in the Amount of $27,500 | |

| Description The Savannah Exchange Club Fair Association Inc. d/b/a the Coastal Empire Fair (hereinafter referred to as the “Fair”) is requesting a Short-Term License to use the City-owned property at 4801 Meding Street (site of former Fairgrounds) for a 31 day period from October 21, 2019 through November 20, 2019 to hold the 2019 Fair. The Fair has agreed to pay a license fee of $27,500 and assume all liability and indemnifications for use of the property. The Fair will provide its own security, a certificate of required insurance, and also post a $5,000 refundable repair deposit in the event any damages or cleanup issues from result from use. Two City departments are currently located and operating at the property. The license to the Fair will exclude these areas.
