Description Acceptance of Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) SERVE Community Funds in the amount of $971,935. Funds will be used to integrate and expand the Savannah Police Department’s technological footprint throughout the city. Grant funds are restricted to the acquisition and implementation of: enhanced FLOCK License Plate Recognition (LPR) cameras, public safety call boxes, AXON/FUSUS platform technology, crime mapping tools and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for public safety analysis. This grant represents a continued partnership between the City of Savannah and SCAD, aimed at improving quality of life, safety, and technological capabilities in key areas of the city. There is no financial match required by the City for this grant. | |
