Title 24. Approval to Participate in the 2020 Visit Savannah Co-Op Digital Advertising Campaign, in the amount of $200,000
Strategic Priority Good Government
Description In 2008 the Savannah Airport Commission participated with Visit Savannah in a co-op advertising campaign with Travelocity that was extremely successful in terms of return on investment and in helping enhance Savannah’s position with the travel planning platform. Since then, the annual co-op campaign has grown to include partners such as Adara, Expedia, and TravelZoo. Each year, it has been one of the most successful campaigns in terms of return on investment. We would like to recommend approval to participate in the co-op campaign that will focus on our core markets, New York, New Jersey, and Boston, as well as our newest Allegiant markets. The campaign will reach customers that have previously booked a flight from those markets in the last 12 months, as well as those currently searching for travel to Savannah and competing destinations from those markets. The total amount requested is $200,000 and is a budgeted marketing expense for 2020.
