This contract is to procure hardware and support to upgrade the Data Center that supports all on premise technology systems and services from Dell in the amount of $349,596. The Innovation and Technology Services Department will use this purchase to upgrade/replace existing infrastructure devices (including, but not limited to, servers and storage equipment) that have reached capacity and/or are no longer under warranty. These replacements include devices that are part of the City of Savannah’s production systems and data storage infrastructure. The Data Center infrastructure supports daily operations and job functions for all business units.

Per section 2-4152 of the City’s Purchasing Ordinance, the City may purchase goods or services through the use of a state contract. The state contract used for this procurement is contract #99999-SPD-SPD0000161-0004 for End-User Computing. It was competitively bid by the State of Georgia and will expire on June 2^nd, 2023. Delivery: As requested. Terms: Net 30 days.
