On July 20th, 2022, Daniel Clayton was on the highway and saw a mother in the middle of the right-hand lane waving down traffic. Her two-year-old son was having a seizure and they needed to get him to the hospital quickly. Daniel (driving a City vehicle) was the only vehicle to stop. He rushed the son and father to Memorial Hospital's emergency room. The father wanted to make sure to thank Daniel for what he did and wanted to make sure he was recognized for it. He said he didn't know if his son was going to make it but he wanted to make sure that Daniel knew that his family was very grateful for what he did.
