Description

The Petitioner requests a zoning map amendment for 8106 Waters Avenue to change the zoning from RSF-6 (Residential Single Family-6) to Office and Institutional-Transition). The proposed use is for an interior design office space. The property is currently a single-family home that was being used as a hair salon. There are no variances requested with this application.

Recommendation

On March 10, 2026, the Planning Commission recommended approval of the request to rezone 8106 Waters Avenue from RSF-6 to OI-T based upon adjacent land use, consistency with the intent of the 2040 Comprehensive Plan and Future Land Use Map, and written support from adjacent neighbors.
