A resolution to adopt an amendment to the Fiscal Year 2016 Budget for each fund of the City of Savannah, appropriating the amounts shown in each budget as expenses, adjusting revenue anticipations, and prohibiting expenses from exceeding the actual funding appropriated.

Purposes for this supplemental budget appropriation include:

This supplemental budget appropriation is required as part of the 2016 closeout process. It amends several expenditure lines to reflect 2016 actual expenditures and reallocating those funds to:

• Transfer $900,000 to the Storm Sewer Rehab project
• Transfer $400,000 to the Golf Course Funds for necessary hurricane-related repairs at Bacon Park Golf Course
• Transfer $3 million in General Fund dollars to the Hurricane Matthew Grant Fund for necessary hurricane-related expenditures. A portion of these expenditures will be reimbursed by FEMA in FY17
• Transfer $8.4 million from various non-General Fund Balances for necessary hurricane-related expenditures. A portion of these expenditures will be reimbursed by FEMA in FY17.
