Notification of emergency procurement of a five-year subscription for Malwarebytes Endpoint Protection from Layer 3 Communications in the amount of $125,000.00. The initial cost for the first year is $25,000.00 with a subsequent cost of $25,000.00 per year for four additional years. 

The Department of Information Technology (DoIT) will use this anti-virus solution as a layer of protection from cyber-security threats such as malware, ransomware, malicious websites, and other cyber exploits.  It is also used to clean up existing malware.  This emergency purchase was necessary because of the recent malware attack on the City of Savannah and for remediation of the virus on the network. This vendor was selected because it was the first available vendor to immediately respond with the requisite resources.
