Description

​​This is to procure an intergovernmental agreement with Chatham County for the engineering design and relocation of existing City water and sewer utilities associated with county roadway and drainage improvements along Garrard Avenue from Chatham Parkway to Gamble Road for an Estimated Amount of $457,376. 

 

​​Chatham County is currently designing Garrard Avenue roadway and drainage improvements from the proposed roundabout at Garrard and Chatham Parkway to Garrard and Gamble Road.  The City will reimburse the County for the engineering and construction services necessary to design and install approximately 1,500 feet of 8” water main and 60 feet of 4” diameter sanitary sewer force main.  Existing water and sanitary sewer laterals will also require relocation.  These utilities are in conflict with the proposed stormwater mains.  The City shall reimburse $72,376. for engineering design services and actual cost of W&S construction, estimated to be $385,000.

 

​This is a sole source because this is a continuation of a specialized program that is tailor-made to fit the needs of Savannah and Chatham County, Georgia.  Delivery:  As needed.  Terms:  Net 30 days.  The vendor is:
