| Description Recommend approval to award an annual contract for directional boring to D&C Directional Boring, LLC up to $100,000. The Public Works and Water Resources Department will use these services as needed for the installation of new water service, sewer mains, traffic cabling, other underground piping and cabling or for the replacement of old antiquated material. Directional boring, an underground horizontal drilling process, is used instead of standard excavation in order to limit ground surface disturbance and disruptions to the public. The contract term expires on December 31, 2020 and has three available annual renewal options. | |
