| Description Xylem Water Solutions USA, Inc. (Flygt Products) will provide one (1) new Flygt 5,000 GPM Submersible Pump as a spare for the Gulfstream Road Tunnel Pump Station. The current two (2) pumps have been in operation since 2012 and are designed for demanding pumping duties and can handle fluid transport for capacities up to 5,000 US GPM. The current pumps rotate pumping operations every 15-20 minutes when water reaches a high-level alarm. The spare pump will allow each of the existing pumps to be pulled for preventive maintenance and as a spare in case of pump failure. This is a 2022 budget item. Xylem Water Solutions USA, Inc. in Garden City, GA, is the only authorized vendor for the Flygt pumps and products in the Municipal and private market for the Savannah, GA area. | |
