On Saturday, January 21, 2023, the Miss Savannah competition was held at South Effingham County High School and Ms. Brittni Evans was crowned Miss Savannah 2023.

The Miss Savannah competition is a local competition to the Miss Georgia and Miss Georgia’s Teen Competition. As a participant of the Miss America Organization, the program exists to provide personal and professional opportunities for young women to promote their voices in their community. As an official preliminary, this competition is a first step toward the titles of Miss America and Miss America's Teen! The program provides a forum for today’s young women to express their viewpoints, talents, and accomplishments to many different audiences during the ensuring year. Almost all candidates have either received, or are in the process of earning either college or postgraduate degrees, and utilize Miss America scholarship grants to further their educations.
