The Commission advertised a Request for Quotations (RFQ 2024 – 0009) for a sweeper that will be used in the airport's parking lots, around the terminal roadsides, and in the rental car lots. The Harper Hawk is an upgraded machine that will allow the Grounds Department to clean the areas above with better speed and cleaning power and operate in turf areas to collect leaf litter and small debris. This unit has a large storage capacity, allowing the operator more time to operate and less time to dispose of the contents. The unit has a recirculating vacuum fan that minimizes dust, allowing operation in public areas during the workday.  This unit replaces a previous sweeper purchased in 2007.  This is a 2024 budgeted item. 

The Savannah Airport Commission (SAC) received four (4) bids with one being non-responsive.
