Description Notification of an emergency repair and upgrade to the sewer force main for Lift Station No. 126 from D&C Directional Boring, LLC in the amount of $650,000. Public Works and Water Resources Department will use these services to repair the existing sewer force main and replace broken pipes along Grove Point Road which are causing sewage spills. On March 10th, a total of more than 45,000 gallons spilled before corrective measures could be implemented. The sewer force main will be upgraded, along with an estimated amount of 2,290 linear feet of PVC with a new 20 inch HDPE pipe that will be fused together and installed through the directional boring process. This vendor was selected because it was the first available to respond. | |
