Recommend approval to procure audio and visual equipment and support for the Pennsylvania Avenue Resource Center from Net Planner Systems, Inc. in the amount of $208,802.94. The audio and visual equipment will be used by the Office of Capital Projects to provide audio/visual package which will support the administrative and programming functions of the Pennsylvania Avenue Resource Center.   This package includes items such as TV monitors, projectors and projector screens, sound systems and speakers, sound and video components, hardware to complete the desired configurations, and a service contract.  The Pennsylvania Avenue Resource Center is located at 425 Pennsylvania Avenue, Savannah, Georgia  31402.  This is a two-story facility currently under construction with approximately 18,800 square feet of programming space. 

The method used for this procurement was the request for proposals (RFP) which evaluates criteria in addition to cost.  The criteria used for this RFP were qualifications and experience, schedule, references, local vendor participation, and fees.

A DBE goal was not established for this event due to the absence of subcontracting opportunity
