Recommend approval to renew an annual maintenance agreement with Azteca Systems, Inc. in the amount of $63,990.00. The maintenance agreement is used by the Water Distribution Department to provide maintenance and support for the City’s CityWorks software system. CityWorks is an asset management system that allows the Public Works Bureau to track its work orders, as well as track preventative maintenance and repair needs. This is a sole source because Azteca Systems, Inc. is the original provider of the software. It is critical to have maintenance and support from the original provider to ensure authorized, knowledgeable, and timely vendor support when it is necessary.

The agreement will expire June 30, 2018.
