Consistent with powers afforded the City under the state’s current nuisance abatement law, proposed Article C is designed to facilitate identification of nuisance properties, establish procedures -- consistent with due process considerations -- to abate nuisances, and provide a mechanism for the City to recover costs associated with nuisance abatement by way of liens and enforcement procedures.

First reading was held by City Council during the meeting of August 31, 2017. This is the second and final reading.
