Recommend approval to renew an annual contract for concrete and asphalt crushing services with United Grounds Maintenance Services in the amount of $55,000.00. These services are used to crush the large stockpiles of concrete and asphalt pieces that are removed during road and sidewalk repairs. Once crushed and recycled, the material is reused for road shoulder restoration, lane grading, and base material.

This is the first of three renewal options available. This contract term will be from September 28, 2017 through December 31, 2018.
